Learning that Works

Learning Moments® was created to help families build strong learning foundations through curiosity, connection, and thoughtful structure. Our curriculum is designed for how children naturally learn and how families actually live.

Instead of overwhelming schedules and complicated preparation, Learning Moments® provides clear, engaging lessons that help children look forward to learning.

Most curriculum was designed for students to pass standardized tests.

After all, children aren’t standard.

They’re curious, creative, energetic, thoughtful, and wonderfully different from one another. Learning Moments® lessons give children space to explore ideas, ask questions, and build understanding in ways that actually make sense.

Education doesn’t begin with curriculum;
it begins with moments.

Learning is a lifestyle.

Education doesn’t happen only during formal lessons. Children are learning constantly through conversations, questions, discoveries, mistakes, and everyday experiences.

  • A question at the breakfast table can spark curiosity.
  • A story read together can open new ways of thinking.
  • A math problem can turn into a discovery about patterns.
  • A question at the dinner table can lead to a deeper idea.

These small moments are where real learning begins. The Learning Moments® approach recognizes that meaningful education grows from these everyday interactions.

Curriculum should support those moments,
not replace them.

Learning Moments® was created by Lisa Yvonne, a mother of eight, ICF-trained and Jai-certified parent and homeschool coach, curriculum designer, and longtime homeschool educator.

After years of teaching her own children and working alongside families navigating learning differences, overwhelm, and competing expectations, Lisa saw a pattern: many parents weren’t struggling because they lacked dedication. They were struggling because the curriculum they were using wasn’t designed for the way children actually learn or the way families actually live.

Lisa created Learning Moments® to change that.

Drawing on insights from child development, neuroscience, education research, and years of real-world homeschooling experience, Learning Moments® was created to help families build confident learners through curiosity, connection, and strong academic foundations.

Today, Learning Moments® supports more than 30,000 families around the world who want learning to be both effective and deeply connected to everyday life.

Dear Parent, you don’t have to be a perfect teacher!

Learning Moments® was designed for families who care deeply about their children’s education but don’t want learning at home to feel overwhelming or complicated.

You don’t need a teaching degree to guide your child well. Children learn best when they are curious, supported, and engaged with the adults who know them best.

Learning Moments® provides the structure families need to turn everyday curiosity into meaningful learning.

Every child learns at a different pace. Some move quickly, others take more time, and many fall somewhere in between. That’s completely normal.

Learning Moments® was built to support those differences while helping families build strong academic foundations and healthy connections together.

Learning Moments is more than a collection of lessons.

It’s a growing platform designed to support families who want learning to be intentional, effective, and deeply connected in everyday life.

Through curriculum, resources, and conversations about education and parenting, Learning Moments® aims to help families raise curious thinkers and confident learners.
